My time, talent, and 12 years of experience exclusively photographing dogs and cats is included in every shoot. In every shoot I promise you: action shots, goofy shots, mellow shots, happy shots, dramatic shots and the capturing of quirks and individual characteristics. (Action shots of cats? Sure!). Instead of just 20-30 images in a gallery like you get with many studios, you will get a wide variety of different images to select products from- images that go online in a fun sharable online gallery that you can send to family and friends too oooh and awwww over. I offer some of the most gorgeous, high-quality, unique products on the market that will make your jaw drop and your heart soar. Creative Fee:

Details are provided below on the two photo session options: dogs and cats. Please read the information on each, and the ‘ever important fine print’ below. Shoots are available Monday through Saturday year-round, and take place at the time of day when the lighting is best, which varies throughout the year, but can be flexible to accommodate varying schedules.

Dog Photo Session:

Fall, Winter, Spring (October-May): $295 / Summer (June-September): $395

Creative Fee Includes:

2.5-3 hour custom on-location photo session.
Up to 3 beloved furry family members. (Pets must reside in same household but can be a combo of dogs and cats. Additional pets may be added for an additional fee).
Two different locations within a 5-10 minute drive of each other. (Usually home + park or other urban location. Ask me for my favorites list!).
Travel time and gas to locations within 20 miles of Downtown Seattle. (Sessions farther than 20 miles from Downtown Seattle incur a travel fee).
Pre-session consultation in your home. (See details on the Experience page).
Custom webpage on my private client website. (See details on the Experience page).
Image processing with my signature Cowbelly ‘style’ applied. (Up to 3 hours of image editing and processing after our photo shoot. Please note that leash removal is done on ordered products only.)
75+ images to select products from in a shareable online gallery within 5-7 days of the shoot. (Prints, products and digital files are not included in the creative fee, which is for service only). The gallery remains online for 14 days to give clients plenty of time to order products.
The ability to purchase gorgeous, high-quality professional products, which, along with the fun images, is what Cowbelly is known for. (See the full product list with photos and prices on the product page).
$750 minimum product purchase requirement to ensure you have a beautiful collection of high-end professional wall art from the images. (Cowbelly clients usually invest between $1,500-$4,000 in custom archival artwork for their home, with the most popular products being canvas displays and photobooks).
Complimentary CD of low-res watermarked images for Facebook or personal website once the minimum purchase requirement is met. (DVDs of high-res printable files are available for purchase, and are included in most product collections).
Previously rescued/shelter pets and terminally ill pets receive a complimentary 11×14 print of their favorite image.

Shooting at two locations provides the ultimate in beauty and variety in your shots and perfectly captures your dogs playing outdoors and relaxing at home- capturing ALL aspects of their personality, and results in the perfect variety for a canvas wall display and/or Photobook, the most popular Cowbelly products.

Cat Photo Session: $250

(Year-round)

Ever-important fine print:

The creative fee is for time and talent (service) only and does not include any products (prints, digital files, or other products). All products are archival in quality. Sessions are available every day of the week except Sundays.

50% of the creative fee is due at the time of booking to reserve your space on my calendar.
Each Cowbelly client is required to sign a standard model and property release in order for me to photograph their pet. The agreement is required prior to the shoot.
To ensure I provide a top-notch experience to each client, I work with only 4-6 clients per month, spaces are limited, and book in advance. Weekday shoots are always available, as are evenings during the spring and summer.
9.5% Washington State sales tax is added to all products and services.

Referral Rewards and Return Client Discounts:

img-seattle-2 Return clients always receive 25% off the creative fee for any photo shoot they book, or any a la carte products they purchase. (Discount does not apply to discounted collections or initial purchases of products from Cowbelly).

I love to reward my clients who refer their friends or family. For every person you refer who books and completes* a photo shoot with me, you receive a $100 print credit, good for one year following your friend’s shoot. Your friend also receives a $100 print credit, good for one year following their shoot.

*Credits will be provided after the shoot is complete.
